Tim and his wife, Karen, have made their home in Issaquah since 1984, where their two children attended public schools.
Tim is a mechanical engineer by education and professional experience. For eighteen years, he has been co-owner of a successful metal fabrication business. He has always been committed to providing steady employment for his employees, even during economic downturns. His company was able to come through the latest recession without having to lay off workers. As the economic climate has improved, additional employment opportunities have been created at his company. Tim understands the necessity of fiscal discipline in order to ensure stability, survival, and growth.
People who know Tim describe him as a man with integrity, honesty and a sense of fairness. This has been evident in his family life, his business, and his volunteer work as an adult leader and district treasurer at the YMCA, as a youth soccer coach, as a youth running coach, and as a King County Citizen Councilor.
